Here are some good creative writing exercises for the students to enjoy.

The students start a paragraph with, “I remember…” and let their memories dictate what they write.

Each student finds four ads in the newspaper. Then they create a poem using only words from the four ads.

The students use a world map and blindly put their finger on a spot. Then they pretend that they are a travel writer and start to write about a weird experience they had in that particular country.
