Singular is a form of the noun that shows that there is only one.

Plural is a form of the noun that shows that there are more than one.

Example:
two dogs, three girls, four footballs

Mostly you just add s for nouns in plural

football – footballs
cup – cups
girl - girls
flower - flowers
sticker – stickers

For nouns that end with ch, x, s, or s sound you add es.
Examples

watch – watches
boss - bosses

For nouns ending with f or fe you change f to v and add es.

For the nouns ending with a consonant + y you remove the y and add ies.
